Open has begun its first survey of the 2010-2011 academic year. The survey is concerned with understanding the connection between sexuality and bullying in American schools. More specifically, the survey aims to link bullying and sexual preference, or assumed sexual preference, especially in regards to the Rice experience. This is in light of recent teen suicides that have been attributed to bullying and homophobia.
